Amy Judd, a London based artist, creates pieces that are truly haunting in their mood and enchanting in their composition. By painting portraits in which the lines between human and nature are blurred, Judd's style is both beautiful and thought provoking. Each painting takes on almost a mythological quality as women morph into sensual, bird-like creatures that seem to allude an angelic presence.
I hope to one day have one of these on my wall. They are all gorgeous really. I think that maybe what Ms. Judd is trying to convey to all of us is that real beauty is found in the courage to spread our wings.
What do you think? Do these paintings speak to you?
